The Price is Right - Echo Arena, Liverpool

In an electrifying night on Saturday at the Echo Arena in Liverpool, David Price regained his British and Commonwealth Heavyweight Championships with a devasting 1st round technical knockout over former Olympic Gold medalist Audley 'A-Force' Harrison.

Many people criticised David Price and Frank Maloney for taking this fight against a highly scrutinised Audley Harrison due to the fact of the promises and huge let downs that we have come to live with during Harrison's career. But this was the right fight for David Price who now needs to look to progressing with a step up in class.

In this last year David Price (14 [12ko]-0) has done last then 6 rounds in the 3 fights he has participated in this year. We all know the Scouser has won 12 of his 14 fights by way of stoppage which proves he has the power to finish fighters. Price now has a fight with on the 8th December against Matt Skelton to win the Lonsdale championship outright.

Matt Skelton (28 [23ko]-6) was guranteed a shot at David Price to attempt to wrestle the championships away from him. In an easy and straight forward stoppage of Jakov Gospic and earns a chance at Price.

Another scouser Kevin Satchell (9 [2ko]-0) become the British Flyweight Championship and regained his Commonwealth Flyweight Championship in a fantastic performence against Stoke born stalwart Chris Edwards stopping him in the 6th round. Satchell worked his game plan fantastically with some fantastic body shots. Satchell should now look at fighting young Irish man Luke Wilton in what would be a fantastic fight.

The final championship bout was between John Lewis Dickson and Shane McPhilben with the North-East fighter winning the vacant Cruiserweight Championship in a dull fight. Adil Anwar earned a hard fought win over Dale Miles.
